Cargill donates $500,000 to support FFA chapters
This spring has brought uncertainty to many FFA members and chapters across the country as many banquets, contests, and annual fundraisers have been canceled. To help offset these losses, Cargill has provided support to the National FFA organization to develop a new program – the FFA COVID-19 Chapter Assistance Program – which will help chapters through these uncertain times.
The purpose of the program is to provide individual FFA chapters with an opportunity to receive up to $2,000 of the $500,000 Cargill fund to help offset the loss of program revenue. Cargill is a 60-year partner of FFA, and is proud to support the work FFA is doing to cultivate a better future for all, by empowering young people to be leaders in agriculture, food, and nutrition.
